Hi Everyone! Today's post will be a review on Black Radiance's True Complexion Match Me Foundation. Recently I have been on the hunt for an affordable foundation and this caught my eye!You can purchase this foundation on Black Radiance's website or at your local drugstore for $9.99 USD.It claims to adjust to your skin's complexion and hide minor imperfections to give you natural looking coverage, and is available in 3 shades: Fair to Light, Light to Medium, and Medium to Dark. (I am wearing shade Medium to Dark in this post.)For my readers that are interested in the ingredients, check out the photo below: The foundation comes in a smooth, matte black bottle. It does not include a pump applicator like most foundations but uses a silicone tip applicator. For this review I placed the product directly on a foundation brush but you can apply it any way you like.

Swatches:

The actual product has a gray/white color with micro beads that break down to show the color. It turns into a light brown shade when it dries down.Natural Lighting:Application: The foundation went on smoothly and was very easy to apply. Overall the texture wasn't rough and feels very lightweight.

Color:

I was pleasantly surprised by the color of this foundation because it's not too red or orange. It's not a perfect match around my mouth/chin area but concealer can definitely help!Coverage: There is minimal coverage, up close you can tell that I am wearing either a foundation or BB cream but from afar it looks very natural and almost unnoticeable. I would say that this does not do much for large pores or fine lines so using a different primer would be perfect to balance this out!

With Flash:

There isn't a white cast when photographed but the foundation appears a bit dull and can appear dry around my problem areas.I would wear this to go out to run errands and other places where flash photography won't be used.

My Rating: 3/5

This foundation is perfect for the woman that wants a low maintenance natural look. It's great for when you're in a rush and you want to feel a little more put together.I see this foundation not working for everyone because there are many shades and undertones that fall into the range Medium to Dark. It's definitely not a one size fits all product. If you have a chance to pick up this product, I recommend trying it out for yourself. It's definitely worth taking a chance!
